The public network (172.19.*) provides 10 Gbit/s connectivity between machines and internet access. It is used for communication to and from the nodes, including VNC, RDC, WSUS and domain services.

The private network (192.168.29.*) also provides 10 Gbit/s connectivity between machines. NDI is configured on this network, which supports multicast. It is used for communication between nodes by applications such as OpenSpace and C-play.
